Its international alignment means that potential purchasers from abroad flock to it along with the local industry. The greatest interest in it centers on Asia and India, but a lot of attention also comes from the Middle East. International companies mostly target potential Chinese purchasers while the Chinese exhibitors cater to the international audience.

To us u, the trade fair is an important opportunity to present our products to a broad audience, but also to establish fresh contacts and to maintain and further develop existing ones.

Just like last time, we shared our stand with the German company D. W. Renzmann Apparatebau. Requesting a larger stand for it and our good relationship with the trade fair organizer enabled us to get a very good location in the hall. D. W. Renzmann produces cleaning facilities for the printing and paint industry, and is represented by our partner GRV in China as well.

In addition to GRV, which is our main partner in China, another three companies that sell our products in China visited our stand. One was Ink-Color, headquartered in Australia and producing printing inks for the local market in China. Ink-Color sells its products in China through its own sales network that also distributes our MDC doctor blades. Meiyin-Roller was also a guest at our stand. This company belongs to our sales network in China and presented its latest products for label printing at the fair.

Zecher, an official partner of Daetwyler Shanghai since early 2018, joined us at our stand. Zecher is a renowned anilox roll manufacturer from Germany and strives to develop its presence on the Chinese market with our help.

Daetwyler Shanghai was on site with the entire sales and support team during the five trade fair days. We were able to welcome many domestic visitors, but also a great number of foreign ones at our stand.

Of course, we used the opportunity to meet up with our entire team for dinner after the end of the trade fair, and to talk to our sales partners in a larger round. The city of Shanghai offers the most beautiful options for this. It is quite interesting and always worth a visit, even for Chinese who are not from Shanghai or its vicinity.

Everyone was participating, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Chile and Switzerland. This shows the big interest of our sales partner and the importance of such meetings. Frequent personal meetings and the mutual understanding of the individual markets helps the Daetwyler family to grow close.

Daetwyler SwissTec took the opportunity to introduce the newest products. The challenge now lies in conquering the market in South America with our innovations. In this area, our Standard, Longlife and Soft blades are well established and usually available from stock. Due to the long transport time and often restrictive import conditions, it is hard to deliver our new products in within an acceptable time-frame.

A very positive feedback was received for our End seals. The first tests with very promising results are currently running in Argentina, already followed by orders.

From our point of view, the meeting was a big success. All partners left with positive impressions, additional Doctor blades knowledge and a belly filled with Peruvian cuisine delights.

All kinds of passengers can enjoy the facilities on the cruise ship. There are variety of restaurants, some of them are buffet restaurants with unlimited refills, and duty free shops on the cruise. In the evening fabulous performances will appear on the stage, such as magic performance, dancing and musical play. MDC China family made many photos together on the deck, recorded the beautiful flash moment.

A new beautiful world of sun-drenched beaches, mysterious islands with rich culture, as well as quintessential Japanese cuisine were to be discovered and explored. Open your mind and wander into the sea of white-sand beaches and enjoy the shimmering waves. Or experience the fancy and interesting markets, indulge in shopping and take a sip of local delicacies. 

If you ask what we love the most of the cruise tour? The extremely gorgeous sea sight? The unlimited delicious food? The well-mannered crew? The splendid shows? I’m sure there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. The journey soon ended, from which we have gained valuable experience and memory. We are all looking forward to the next trip.

The word «Turkey» is usually reminiscent of beautiful beach resorts and not of printing companies. Very few people know that in addition to its beautiful beaches, Turkey also offers a large printing market.

It is precisely for this reason that employees of Daetwyler SwissTec travelled to Turkey in August 2017. The objective was to discuss the setting up a subsidiary. Several meetings and countless signatures later, nothing stood in the way of this project.

At the beginning of 2018, the first own subsidiary was established under the company name Daetwyler SwissTec Emtia Ticaret A.Ş. in Turkey. The city of Izmir was selected for the subsidiary, which is located approximately 400 km southwest of Istanbul on the Turkish west coast. The subsidiary strives to sell not only its own products but also those of our Rotoflex subsidiary. Third party products are additionally sold, i.e. Zecher Rasterwalzen, Schmid Ryhner Paints and Innova Tapes are included in the portfolio.

This site is managed by Rober Hayim. Some of you will be familiar with this name as he already worked for MDC Max Daetwyler AG in previous years. He receives administrative support by Özge Kamaya and sales support by Çağlar Üstüner.

We are convinced that Turkey is a significant location and this country offers great potential. In addition, we have a competent team on site, who knows how to master future challenges.

The «Print4All» was initiated by the association of the organizers of the former three small trade fairs Converflex, In-Printing and Grafitalia. The goal was to counteract the negative trend in visitor numbers by merging. The numbers speak for the decision: over 150,000 visitors from 87 different countries took part in this year‘s Print4All.

We were also allowed to be present together with our sales partner Neografa at a booth. The participation enabled us to maintain important existing customer contacts and establish new contacts with potential customers. The organizers, the exhibitors and visitors can look forward to the positive response.
