Flexographic printing works with flexible printing plates. This printing process is very versatile and can also cope with materials that are difficult to print. The decisive factor here is the right choice of doctor blades. In terms of texture and configuration, they should be matched to the corresponding anilox roll and the respective job. Since the doctor blade is one of the wear parts in flexographic printing, a constant wiping of the anilox roll over the entire life of the doctor blade for the uniform transfer of ink layer thicknesses on the substrate is of utmost importance.
