Drupa is considered the most important event for the global printing industry and therefore serves as its central meeting place. After a longer break, Drupa took place from May 28 to June 7, 2024, at Messe Düsseldorf, the organiser of Drupa. And it sure lived up to its name: The atmosphere was hard to beat, and the number of visitors was record-breaking! In an area of around 140,000 m2, almost 1,600 exhibitors from 50 nations presented the entire spectrum of current trends and visionary ideas in the field of printing technologies. And in the middle of it all was Daetwyler SwissTec!

Daetwyler SwissTec presented itself with a refreshing trade fair appearance that offered plenty of room for interaction with the public. We focused on the essentials – our customers and partners. Thanks to our trade fair presence, we have created an atmospheric framework for personal encounters and professional exchanges. In 11 days, our customers and partners had the opportunity to meet us at our 120 m2 booth in Hall 3 and to find out more about our products. The constructive discussions and fascinating connections make us look forward to Drupa 2028 with joyful anticipation.

Our team - consisting of Daetwyler, SwissTec and Rotoflex - informed Drupa participants from a wide variety of countries around the world about our comprehensive product portfolio. We were represented with our diverse MDC doctor blades and our high-quality consumables for the printing industry. In addition, Rotoflex presented its comprehensive range of inks and coatings for flexible packaging.

With Drupa 2024, many existing contacts could be strengthened, but there were also lots of newcomers that we could welcome into the fold. We are pleased to have successfully represented our world-famous "Daetwyler" name to the outside world where our innovative products have become indispensable in the graphic arts industry.

Every website has a certain lifespan, and with the constant evolution of technology and design standards, updating often becomes a must. Outdated aesthetics, slow loading times, or lack of usability can be reasons for a change. Before the first brush strokes are made on the digital canvas, a thorough analysis of the existing website is essential. Which elements work well? Which ones could be improved? A modern web design always considers the needs of the users. Intuitive navigation, clear call-to-action elements, and responsive design are just a few aspects that need to be considered.

The new design of the Daetwyler SwissTec website reflects the content of the new corporate design and, in addition to the new brochure and the new business cards, is the consistent digital implementation of the new image.

This year our annual sales meeting took place in our Headquarter in Bleienbach Switzerland. We could welcome our subsidiaries as well couple of our European partners joined this meeting. After quite a long time, our team have been very hungry to exchange information as well experience from individual countries. Personal meetings or better face-to-face conversations simply cannot be replaced. Drupa 2020 was cancelled, so definitely Drupa 2024 was a central topic during our meeting, furthermore our team got the latest information about products and new developments that will soon launched into the market.
